As of June 5th the Cottages are officially open for business!
With the stress that many have been facing over the past few months, we are excited and hopeful for the opportunity to re-open as soon as government regulations allow in order to provide families and individuals a safe place to get away and vacation in the comfort of their own private cottages in a naturally socially distant environment.
In order to ensure the safety of our guests, and in preparation for the opening of our property, we made the following changes and improvements to our property and facilities:
1. Cleaning procedures have been modified to include full wipe down and disinfecting of all touch points in our cottages after each stay.
2. All housekeeping personnel are required to wear masks and gloves at all times during cleaning procedures
3. Hand sanitizer dispensers have been installed at each stairway to the beach area and near the staff garage area
4. We utilize a professional linen service in order to ensure each bed is fitted with fresh, professionally cleaned sheets for each stay. Bed comforters are also replaced with freshly washed comforters after each stay. We provide fresh pillowcases for each stay with the linen changeover but some guests may prefer to bring their own pillows.
5. Disinfectant spray and wipes are provided on the beach for guests to wipe down beach chairs, paddles, toys, etc as needed.
6. Many of our guests enjoy the pontoon boat rides that we offer to guests. In order to ensure our boating experience is safe we wipe down all surfaces and seats immediately following each ride. We also provide and require each guest to apply hand sanitizer prior to boarding the boat.
7. Our fully digital check in and payment system continues to provide guests with a safe, socially distant manner of arrival. Our staff are only a phone call away and will be on property regularly to address any issues or concerns you may have.
As regulations and recommendations continue to change, we reserve the right the adjust policies as deemed necessary in order to ensure the safety and well being of our guests.
We have a wonderful property in beautiful Spofford New Hampshire that can provide you and your family with the perfect place to get away from the craziness we've all been experiencing over the past few months. We hope you and your family have the opportunity to join us on the lake this summer.
